Donate to Thriftique

Thriftique welcomes donations of gently-worn designer and everyday men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing, shoes, purses, jewelry, decor, artwork, furniture, books, collectibles, housewares, and more. All donations are tax-deductible.

NCJW Pittsburgh Section counts on your donations to support sales at Thriftique, which generates funding for our community programs, including Suit Yourself Clothing Vouchers, The Center for Women, the Back 2 School Store, advocacy efforts on behalf of women and children, and much more.

It’s easy to donate your unneeded clothing, shoes, housewares, furniture, and more to Thriftique! Here’s how:

Donate At Thriftique

Donations accepted Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bring donations to our rear loading dock and ring the bell for assistance.  For safety and security reasons, do not leave donations at our front or back door outside of business hours.

Drop-Off Closet at Anathan House

Clothing and small household items may be dropped off at Anathan House, located at 1620 Murray Avenue in Squirrel Hill, during regular business hours Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please enter through the side door and place your hanging, boxed, or bagged items in the secure, monitored donation closet. For security reasons, when you ring please inform the staff if you are dropping off merchandise that is particularly valuable or suitable for our Designer Days events.

Clothing Drive

Hosting a clothing drive at your office, business, synagogue, or social group is another way that you can support the work of NCJW. Contact our Director of Retail Operations, Lynn Tomasits, at , to arrange a drive.

By Special Appointment

If you have a great deal of high-end clothing, accessories, jewelry, shoes, or furnishings appropriate for Designer Days or Thriftique, an in-home assessment and pick up may be appropriate. Please contact our Director of Retail Operations, Lynn Tomasits, at .
